OUR SEVEN HOUSES
They have all their own typical charm but different sizes. Each house has 1 or 2 dbl beds and 2 to 6 single beds to host 4 to 10 persons . All beds are provided with duvets and/or blankets and pillows. The sheets however you have to bring yourself or can be rent.
Every house has its own private little garden or terrace.
La Cabane "the cabin" is a newly built wooden cabin.
It has a fully equipped kitchen of 270 sq.ft (25m²), a spacious bathroom with a toilet and a bedroom of 130 sq.ft (12m²) The cottage has been designed to be suitable for wheelchair users.
La Cabane is set apart from the other houses at the edge of the forest, with a beautiful view of the hills. It faces south-east and is equipped for 4 to 5 people.
Le Cocon "the coccon" is a large house connected directly to the main house. In the stonework above the the door one can read the date the house was built: 1668
A third floor has been added to the original two with a beautiful balcony offering a wonderful view. A wood burning stove has been installed in the orginal fireplace.
There are two bedrooms on the second floor and a bathroom with toilet. The third floor has a large, bright room with adjoining terrace, The house is simply furnished for 7 to 9 people..
La Coquille "the shell" is an independent appartment under the mainhouse in the south-east of the hamlet. It takes its name from its sheltered location with its own private garden with south orientation.
La Coquile has two bedrooms, each of 160 sq.ft. (15m²), with a kitchen and a spacious bathroom with toilet. In the cooler part of the year, the house is heated by a central heating on wood. The cottage is simply furnished for 4 to 5 people
L'Écurie "the stable" were formerly the stables for the horses and cows at Les Costes. The building has been transformed into a south-east facing detached house over two floors.
The ground floor has a huge living area of 375 sq.ft (35m²) with an open kitchen, and a spacious bathroom (with toilet). The first floor is a single large, bright area of over 500 sq.ft (48m²), making it suitable for a larger group as a dorm. The cottage is equipped for 8 to 10 people.
La Mairie "the town hall" is a detached house over two floors.
.It was completely renovated in 2005 and in 2007 a conservatory with a living area of 250 sq.ft (23m²) was added.From there you have a beautiful view over the gardens and hills. It has a terrace covered with grapes at the southside.
The cottage is simply furnished for 4 to 6 people.
L'Occasion is a south-east facing detached house with two floors. The back door that gives access to the basement is the original door (1.60 m height) that small the people once were! Above is the date etched in stone that this house was built: 1715.
The ground floor has a living area of 250 sq.ft (23m²) with an open kitchen, toilet and shower. On the first floor are the bedrooms: the first with washbasin 170 sq.ft (16m²) , and the second of 100 sq.ft The cottage is simply furnished for 4 to 6 people.
La Sagnette "the knoll" stands atop a hill overlooking the valley and the other houses.
Before restoration the house had just the four walls left standing, and trees were growing inside the boundaries. .
La Sagnette is arranged over two floors. The ground floor has a living room of 250 sq.ft (23m²) with an open kitchen, toilet and shower. On the first floor are the two bedrooms, each of 170 sq.ft (16m²) The cottage is simply furnished for 4 to 8 people.
